Some newborns are more sensitive than others. Nothing is worse for parents than seeing their little one dealing with spit-up, gas, painful bloating, or rashes. Organic Formula Shop carries a range of specialty formulas developed to help ease some of the most common feeding and digestive issues. These gentle formulas are specially made for babies with cow’s milk protein intolerance, suspected allergies, or reflux. The Formulas that we carry for sensitive tummies are:

Hipp Hypoallergenic (HA) series

Hypoallergenic formula is designed for babies who are prone to allergies. "Hypoallergenic" refers to proteins in the formula that have been hydrolyzed or broken down into smaller pieces. Newborns tolerate this formula well and have fewer allergic reactions. 

HiPP Comfort

HiPP Comfort is a lactose-based formula, but it is known for its lower lactose content and extensively hydrolyzed lactose proteins (86%-87% broken down). This special formula also includes prebiotics and probiotics to help absorption and digestion.

HiPP Anti Reflux (AR)

This complete formula is easier to keep down for your little one because organic locust bean gum (a natural thickener) helps reduce the likelihood and frequency of spit-up. HiPP AR contains organic whey protein, organic vegetable oils, lactose from organic skimmed milk, and organic starch. Vitamins A & C help the baby's immune system, and Vitamin D with calcium absorption for stronger bones.

Please Note: Our HiPP HA, Comfort & Anti Reflux (AR) Formulas are technically not organic because hydrolyzing the milk protein requires more processing and can therefore not be qualified as organic. However, all other ingredients included are organic.

HiPP Organic Goat Series

Launched in 2022 these formulas are based on 100% organic ingredients, including organic goat milk with the A2 beta-casein milk protein. The A2 milk protein means that the milk has a slightly lower saturated fat content than other milk without the A2 milk protein (such as standard cow's milk)

Holle Organic Dutch (800gr) & German (400gr) Goat Series

These formulas are designed to be clean and contain essential nutrients such as iron, calcium, and zinc, plus vitamins A, B12, C, and D. The Holle Goat formulas do not contain any soy, corn syrup, or glucose syrup and are free of GMOs, sugars and prebiotic or probiotics.
