Description
HiPP HA Dutch Stage 1 Combiotik is a hypoallergenic infant formula for babies from birth to 6 months, made in Germany with EFSA-approved hydrolyzed whey protein and HiPP's Combiotik blend of prebiotics and probiotics, available in an 800g can with bilingual Dutch and French labeling.
Parents choose HiPP HA Dutch Stage 1 Combiotik because it was built for the moment a family realizes allergies may be part of their story. When eczema, hay fever, or food allergies run in the family, a standard infant formula with intact cow's milk protein may not be the gentlest start. The HA Combiotik line uses whey protein that has been carefully hydrolyzed, breaking it into smaller fragments so a sensitive baby's digestive system can process it more comfortably while reducing the risk of allergic reactions. The formula rounds out that foundation with HiPP's Combiotik blend: GOS prebiotics to nourish healthy gut flora, and the natural probiotic L. fermentum for digestive comfort and immune support. Lactose is the only carbohydrate, with no starch, maltodextrin, or refined sugar added. That quality extends beyond the recipe: HiPP works with farms committed to high animal welfare standards, its HA range draws on over 25 years of immunological research, and all HiPP formulas are produced climate neutrally in Germany, meeting the highest European formula regulations set by the EFSA.
Each 100ml serving provides 1.3g of gently hydrolyzed whey protein, DHA and ARA (both 13.4mg), GOS prebiotics (0.3g), the natural probiotic Limosilactobacillus fermentum CECT5716, and Metafolin (calcium L-methylfolate), with lactose as the sole carbohydrate source. Rated 4.9 stars by many US parents, it is one of the most trusted hypoallergenic European infant formulas in the United States.
When your baby reaches 6 months, HiPP HA Dutch Stage 2 Combiotik is the natural next step, continuing the same hydrolyzed protein and Combiotik blend for babies from 6 months onward.

How to make a bottle

Preparation for all powdered formulas:
- Wash your hands and sterilize the bottle, teat, and ring. Boil them in water for 10 minutes.
- Boil fresh drinking water and let it cool. Do not pour boiling water directly onto the powder, as this may damage the natural lactic acid cultures.
- Pour the correct amount of cooled boiled water into the sterilized bottle (see feeding chart).
- Add the correct number of leveled scoops using only the scoop provided (1 scoop per 30ml water). Scoop size: 4.4g.
- Close the bottle and shake vigorously until the powder is fully dissolved.
- Cool to drinking temperature, approximately 37°C (98°F). Test on the inside of your wrist before feeding.
Important Information:
- Only use the scoop provided in the pack.
- Do not make feeds weaker or stronger than indicated by adding extra water/scoops, and do not add anything else to the milk.
- Always freshly prepare formula and do not prepare in advance. Use immediately, and discard leftovers at the end of the feed.
- Do not heat a bottle in a microwave as hot spots may occur, which could cause scalding.
- All opened formula should be used within 21 days. Never use formula beyond its expiration date. The expiration date on the formula box/tin is listed according to European standard: day/month/year
- Avoid storing in areas of high heat or humidity.
