Description
Holle Organic Goat Formula Stage 3 is an organic goat milk follow-on formula for toddlers from 10 months. Use it as part of an increasingly varied family diet after Holle Goat Stage 2 or any other follow-on milk, and keep it in the routine through the end of the third year.
By 10 months, your little one eats at the table, climbs on everything, and still needs the dependable bottle underneath it all. The base remains whole goat milk with its naturally occurring A2 protein. Lactose leads the recipe, and DHA at 14 mg per 100 ml (3.4 fl oz) supports eyesight, while ALA omega-3 supports the brain and nerve cells. Vitamins C and D support the immune system, and this clean recipe contains no palm oil, added sugar, corn syrup, or soy.
This premium follow-on milk is crafted in Germany from biodynamic milk and comes in a 400 g (14.1 oz) box. The label is in German, so we translated the preparation instructions, feeding chart, and ingredient information into English here.
This formula is rated 4.9/5 stars by parents in our store. "It tastes great and smells great. Mixes well with water. My baby loves it!"

What Makes This Formula Special
Toddler eating is wonderfully unpredictable: a big lunch today, three bites tomorrow. Holle Goat Stage 3 is the steady base underneath those ups and downs. One or two milk meals a day round out the family food with iron, calcium, vitamin D, and DHA- exactly the nutrients picky phases tend to miss, and our guide to EU formula and immune support explains how vitamins C and D quietly back up a busy toddler's defenses. Next to lactose, the leading carbohydrate, small amounts of gentle organic energy sources, organic maltodextrin and a touch of organic starch, keep the feed satisfying for a toddler-sized appetite.
The milk itself is what makes Holle unique. Whole goat milk, naturally containing the A2 protein and forming a soft curd in the tummy, is farmed to the triple-certified standard: EU Organic (DE-ÖKO-001) as the legal baseline, the German Bio-Siegel on top, and Demeter, the biodynamic gold standard with strict animal welfare at its heart. The DHA is plant-based, derived from algal oil, which keeps this formula vegetarian.
One honest note, because goat milk is often sought for allergy reasons: goat milk still contains milk proteins. It is not a treatment for a confirmed or suspected cow's milk protein allergy. Always ask your pediatrician first if allergies are a concern. For everyday sensitive tummies or fussiness with cow's milk, goat milk could be the gentle path you are looking for.
Stepping up from Holle Organic Goat Formula Stage 2? The transition is seamless, with the same whole goat milk base and mild taste your little one already knows. The range began with Holle Goat Stage 1 for families starting at birth. From 12 months, Holle Goat Stage 4 continues the range for toddlers, and you can compare all our Stage 3 formulas for this age group in one place.
Safety, Quality and Animal Welfare
Holle has stood for organic quality for more than 85 years and was the world's first Demeter-certified producer of baby food. Biodynamic farming means the goats are raised to high animal-welfare standards on organic German farms, and every ingredient is strictly controlled from farm to box. This box is even climate-positive, going a step beyond climate-neutral by supporting more climate protection than its production emits.
EU baby formula complies with strict European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) rules, including required DHA, age-staged iron, and no corn syrup solids. These rules set a higher bar than FDA formula standards and apply to all EU and UK formulas we carry. Read more in our EU vs US formula guide.
Why Parents Trust Holle German Goat Stage 3
Many families reach this stage after months on the earlier ones, and their loyalty says it all. "We've used this formula for 2 of our kids since 2023! Easy to make and easy on baby's stomach," one parent wrote. Another described the switch at exactly this age: "My 10-month-old transitioned to this formula very easily and hasn't had any issues with it. We love the clean ingredients." Easy transitions, settled tummies, and toddlers who happily drink their milk come back again and again.

Frequently Asked Questions
What age is Holle Goat Stage 3 for?
It is a follow-on formula for ages 10 months and up, used as part of a mixed diet alongside family meals. You can use it through the end of the third year, and from 12 months, Holle Goat Stage 4 is the next step in the range.
What is the difference between Holle Goat Stage 2 and Stage 3?
Stage 3 is tuned for toddlers: a slightly lighter feed at about 67 kcal per 100 ml, because real meals do more of the work now. Iron remains high, and the whole goat milk base, gentle organic energy sources, and mild taste stay the same. Switching is seamless.
Is this formula suitable for a cow's milk protein allergy?
No. Goat milk still contains milk proteins, so it is not a treatment for a confirmed or suspected cow's milk protein allergy. For allergy concerns, choose a formula under medical guidance; for everyday sensitivity, goat milk is a gentle option.
Why choose this over plain milk for my toddler?
One or two servings a day provide iron, DHA, and vitamin D in amounts plain milk does not, which is welcome insurance during the picky-eating years. Many families use it as a gentle bridge between formula and regular milk, always as part of a mixed diet.
How long does one box last?
The 400 g (14.1 oz) box makes about 30 bottles of 100 ml (3.4 fl oz), using the included scoop (4.4 g per 30 ml of water). Our formula calculator shows exactly how many boxes you need for your little one's age.
