Description
Kendamil UK Goat Stage 2 Follow-On Formula is nutritionally complete, perfect for babies aged 6 to 12 months. It's the ideal follow-on from Kendamil Goat Stage 1 and can smoothly transition to Kendamil Stage 3.
Whole goat milk is the first ingredient, and demineralized goat whey powder is the second. The fats come from A2 whole goat milk. There is no palm oil, and the DHA is plant-based, taken from microalgae rather than fish oil. That is what makes the 100% certified-vegetarian claim possible, which is unusual for a goat formula. It carries GOS prebiotics alongside 3'-GL. Whether switching from another Stage 1 formula or using it as a meal substitute or supplement during breastfeeding or weaning, Kendamil Goat Stage 2 is designed to support optimal nutrient absorption and promote healthy infant growth.
What changes from stage 1 to stage 2? Protein rises from 1.3g to 1.4g per 100ml. Iron rises from 0.7mg to 0.81mg. Zinc, iodine, selenium, biotin and potassium all step up a little. Energy comes down a fraction, and so do fat, DHA, choline and inositol. The prebiotic fiber stays where it was. That is the shape of a milk built to sit beside meals rather than be the meal. Iron is the one worth knowing about. A baby's own iron stores start running low around six months, and first foods are rarely reliable on it yet. The taste stays mild and creamy, so the change is usually not noticed at the bottle.
What sets Kendamil apart from many U.S.-made formulas is its clean ingredient profile: it’s free from soy, palm oil, synthetic additives, GMOs, corn syrup, sugar, and peanuts. This 100% goat’s milk-based formula is certified by the UK Red Tractor, ensuring high food standards without using hormones or antibiotics and promoting animal welfare.

Not sure how much to order? Whether you are stocking up for a few weeks or a couple of months, our formula calculator shows exactly how many cans your baby needs. One tip from experienced parents: babies grow through their formula faster than you expect, so it is worth ordering your next supply before the current can runs low.
Please note:
- If your baby has been diagnosed with a cow’s milk protein allergy (rather than just showing signs of sensitivity), it is not very likely that Holle goat milk formulas will be suitable. You might consider one of our hypoallergenic formulas, which contain hydrolyzed proteins that are less likely to provoke an allergic response. Before deciding to bottle-feed, we advise you to consult your pediatrician.
- Kendamil Goat is not certified organic because there is an insufficient supply of certified organic goat farms (especially in England/Europe) and the specialized certified organic goat whey needed for their formula.
If this formula is not 100% what you're looking for, please consider one of our other unique Formulas for Sensitive Tummies or other Goat Milk Formulas. How to make a bottle

Preparation for powdered formulas:
To open the can: snap open the tamper-proof clip and dispose of it immediately and safely, away from children. Hold the top of the can with both hands, place both thumbs under the lip, and push up to open the lid. The scoop is held inside the lid. Open the foil seal by carefully pulling back on the easy-open tab, then dispose of the foil.
- Wash your hands, then sterilize your feeding utensils (bottle, teat, cap) according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Fill a kettle with 1 liter of freshly run tap water. Do not use repeatedly boiled water.
- Boil the water and leave it to cool for no more than 30 minutes, so it stays at a temperature of at least 70°C.
- Measure the required water into a sterilized bottle.
- Using the scoop provided, add the correct number of leveled scoops to the bottle. Use the straight edge inside the lid to level each scoop. Use 1 level scoop per 30ml of water.
- Place a sterilized teat and cap on the bottle and shake well to dissolve the powder.
- Cool to natural body temperature, approximately 37°C (98°F), by running the bottle under cold running water with the cap on. Always test the temperature on the inside of your wrist before feeding.
Use the correct amount of leveled scoops as directed. Using too much or too little can make your baby ill. Once feeding begins, use the formula within 1 hour or discard it. Do not add food products such as cow's milk to your baby's milk. Do not re-heat in a microwave. When bottle feeding, do not allow prolonged contact of milk feeds with your baby's teeth, as this increases the risk of tooth decay. Make sure your baby's teeth are cleaned each night after the last feed. Use only the scoop provided in the pack.
