Description
Kendamil UK Goat Formula Stage 2 is a premium whole-goat-milk follow-on formula for babies aged 6 to 12 months. Use it as part of a mixed diet alongside solid foods, as the natural next step after Kendamil Goat Stage 1, any other starting formula, or breastfeeding.
The gentle idea behind the range carries through the weaning months. Goat milk is naturally A2: goats produce only the A2 type of casein, the protein many parents seek for sensitive little tummies. Kendamil builds on whole A2 goat milk, preserving the natural milk fat. It also includes MFGM: a natural part of the milk fat, also found in breast milk, that supports your baby's brain development. That is also why the recipe needs no palm oil at all. Carefully crafted goat whey keeps the protein gentle. Lactose remains the only carbohydrate. DHA for brain and eyesight comes from plant-based algae oil, not fish oil: no corn syrup, no soy, and no GMOs.
Kendamil developed this creamy, award-winning follow-on milk for the UK market, and it comes in an 800 g (28.2 oz) can. Everything on the can is in plain English, including the preparation steps, feeding chart, and ingredients, so no translation is needed.
This formula has a 5-star rating from many parents in our store. "This stuff's awesome. My little one's tummy loves the A2 goat milk, and it's priced right for such quality. Super happy."

What Makes This Formula Special
Weaning is when tummies get tested: new foods, new textures, and a milk feed that still does much of the nutritional work. Families who started on goat because regular formula caused fussing can stay on the same path, with the same naturally A2 goat milk base their baby knows, now tuned for 6 months and up. Iron supports healthy blood and cognitive development right when solid meals are still hit or miss. Our guide to combining solids with EU formula helps you plan the rest of the plate.
Everything that makes the goat line special carries over intact. Because the recipe starts with whole goat milk rather than skimmed powder, the natural milk fat and MFGM stay in, and palm oil stays out. Gentle goat whey keeps the protein profile kind to little tummies. Lactose remains the only carbohydrate, and GOS prebiotic fibers plus naturally occurring HMO 3'-GL support the gut, while nucleotides support a young immune system. It is still 100% vegetarian-certified thanks to the algae-based DHA, and it is still made with love by a family business since 1962, with the Mother & Baby Gold Award on the front of the can.
One thing to know: goat milk still contains milk proteins similar to those in cow's milk. It is not suitable for babies with a confirmed cow's milk protein allergy. If allergies are a concern, always talk to your pediatrician first.
Stepping up from Kendamil UK Goat Stage 1? The transition is seamless: the same creamy goat milk and mild taste. Prefer the cow path? Kendamil UK Organic Stage 2 shares the whole-milk philosophy at a friendlier price. From 12 months, Kendamil UK Goat Stage 3 continues the goat recipe as a toddler milk. You'll also find this formula in our formulas for sensitive tummies.
Safety, Quality and Animal Welfare
Kendamil crafts this recipe from goat milk and goat whey sourced from family farms, and makes and tests it to the same strict standards as the rest of the range. With over 60 years of expertise in infant nutrition, Kendamil remains proudly family-run, and the fish-free recipe also helps protect marine ecosystems.
EU baby formula complies with strict European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) rules, including required DHA, age-staged iron, and no corn syrup solids. These rules set a higher bar than FDA formula standards and apply to all EU and UK formulas we carry. Read more in our EU vs US formula guide.

Frequently Asked Questions
What age is Kendamil UK Goat Stage 2 for?
It is a follow-on formula for babies 6 to 12 months old, used as part of a mixed diet alongside solid foods. At 12 months, Kendamil UK Goat Stage 3 is the next toddler milk.
What is the difference between Goat Stage 1 and Stage 2?
Stage 2 is formulated for the weaning phase, with iron supporting healthy blood and cognitive development as solids are introduced. The whole A2 goat milk base, goat whey, algae DHA, prebiotics, and creamy taste remain the same, so switching is seamless.
Why choose goat milk formula at this age?
Goat casein is naturally A2, and many parents of sensitive babies find that goat feeds settle more comfortably through the ups and downs of weaning. Kendamil retains the whole-milk fat and adds gentle goat whey, which most goat formulas don't offer.
Is it suitable for a cow's milk protein allergy?
No. Goat milk contains milk proteins similar to those in cow's milk, so it is not suitable for a confirmed allergy. For diagnosed babies, a hypoallergenic formula with hydrolyzed protein is the right choice.
How long does a can last?
The 800 g (28.2 oz) can yields about 55 bottles of 100 ml (3.4 fl oz) when using the included scoop (4.3 g per 30 ml of water). Use within 4 weeks after opening. Our formula calculator shows exactly how many cans you need for your baby's age.

How to make a bottle

Preparation for powdered formulas:
To open the can: snap open the tamper-proof clip and dispose of it immediately and safely, away from children. Hold the top of the can with both hands, place both thumbs under the lip, and push up to open the lid. The scoop is held inside the lid. Open the foil seal by carefully pulling back on the easy-open tab, then dispose of the foil.
- Wash your hands, then sterilize your feeding utensils (bottle, teat, cap) according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Fill a kettle with 1 liter of freshly run tap water. Do not use repeatedly boiled water.
- Boil the water and leave it to cool for no more than 30 minutes, so it stays at a temperature of at least 70°C.
- Measure the required water into a sterilized bottle.
- Using the scoop provided, add the correct number of leveled scoops to the bottle. Use the straight edge inside the lid to level each scoop. Use 1 level scoop per 30ml of water.
- Place a sterilized teat and cap on the bottle and shake well to dissolve the powder.
- Cool to natural body temperature, approximately 37°C (98°F), by running the bottle under cold running water with the cap on. Always test the temperature on the inside of your wrist before feeding.
Use the correct amount of leveled scoops as directed. Using too much or too little can make your baby ill. Once feeding begins, use the formula within 1 hour or discard it. Do not add food products such as cow's milk to your baby's milk. Do not re-heat in a microwave. When bottle feeding, do not allow prolonged contact of milk feeds with your baby's teeth, as this increases the risk of tooth decay. Make sure your baby's teeth are cleaned each night after the last feed. Use only the scoop provided in the pack.
