Description
HiPP Dutch Goat Formula, Stage 1 is a delicious certified organic goat milk infant formula for babies from birth. It is certified under EU Organic code DE-ÖKO-001, carries the HiPP Bio seal, and is made in Germany for the Dutch market. Organic goat milk is the first ingredient, and lactose is the second; this milk is naturally high in A2 beta-casein. The recipe carries galacto-oligosaccharide prebiotics made from organic lactose, plus DHA and ARA, choline, inositol, and L-carnitine. Lactose is the only sugar. There is no starch and no maltodextrin. You can feel confident that you're providing your baby with pure and simple nutrition!
HiPP Dutch Goat Organic Stage 1 is composed exclusively of A2 beta-casein, leaving out the A1 beta-casein protein associated with lactose intolerance and discomfort. It's the perfect solution for parents seeking an alternative to traditional European organic cow milk formulas. Using A2 milk protein results in a slightly lower saturated fat content, making it a wholesome choice for your little one’s tummy. This formula is packed with essential vitamins, including A, C, and D. Vitamin D aids calcium absorption and bone growth, while Omega-3 & Omega-6 promote brain and eye development. It's a holistic approach to your baby's health and well-being.
Goat milk formulas offer your little one the benefits of a lactose-based carbohydrate diet without the need for artificial additives that would otherwise enrich your baby's carbohydrate intake. HiPP is one of the best-known organic names in European baby nutrition, and many US parents already feed their little one with one of the formula from the HiPP Dutch Goat range. As your little one ages, we also offer HiPP Dutch Goat Stage 2.
HiPP Dutch Goat Stage 1 exceeds the EU requirements set by the European Food Safety Authority for organic certification, which are much stricter than organic standards in the US. This ensures it is 100% free from steroids, pesticides, growth hormones, and non-medically necessary antibiotics. For HiPP, animal welfare is paramount. Their grass-fed goats graze in open fields, ensuring the highest-quality milk and resulting in a world-class formula.

Ordering the next can before this one runs low is the simplest way to stay ahead.
Please note: If your baby has been diagnosed with a cow's milk protein allergy (rather than just showing signs of sensitivity), it is not very likely that Holle goat milk formulas will be suitable. You might consider one of our hypoallergenic formulas, which contain hydrolyzed proteins that are less likely to provoke an allergic response. Please consult your pediatrician.

How to make a bottle

Preparation for HiPP powdered formulas:
1. Wash your hands, then sterilize the bottle, teat, and ring carefully.
2. Boil fresh drinking water and leave it to cool down before mixing.
3. Pour the correct amount of cooled water into the bottle.
4. Fill the measuring scoop loosely and level it off. Scoop size: 4.3g. Use 1 level scoop per 30ml of water. Add the recommended number of scoops to the bottle.
5. Close the bottle and shake vigorously.
6. Let it cool to drinking temperature, approximately 37°C (98°F). Always check the temperature on the inside of your wrist before feeding.
Important Information:
- Always prepare the bottle just before the feed and give it to your baby straight away.
- Do not warm the milk in a microwave, because of the risk of burns.
- Do not re-use leftover milk. Use only the measuring scoop supplied in this can.
- Frequent and prolonged contact between the teeth and liquids containing carbohydrate can cause tooth decay.
- Teach good dental hygiene from the first milk teeth, especially before bedtime.
