Holle Bio Goat Dutch Stage 2 is a delicious, EU Organic, and Demeter Biodynamic-certified goat milk follow-on formula for babies from 6 to 10 months. Made with organic whole goat milk from Germany, this formula is designed to complement solid foods during the weaning stage, providing 2 to 3 bottles per day alongside an increasingly varied diet. Because DHA comes from algae rather than fish oil, this formula is suitable for vegetarian families.
 

Goat milk naturally contains A2 beta-casein protein and forms a smaller, softer curd during digestion compared to standard cow milk. This is one reason parents of babies who experience discomfort with cow milk formulas often find goat milk formula to be a gentler alternative. Holle Goat Dutch Stage 2 uses organic whole goat milk (not skimmed), preserving the milk's natural protein and fat profile. While goat and cow milk proteins share some similarities, many parents report that their babies tolerate goat milk formulas more comfortably.
This Holle formula is palm oil-free: it uses only organic sunflower oil and organic rapeseed oil. Goat milk naturally provides palmitic acid, so no palm oil supplementation is needed. Also free from soy, gluten, GMOs, corn syrup, and artificial additives.
 

If you are switching from Holle Bio Goat Stage 1, there are a few differences worth knowing. Stage 1 uses lactose as the sole carbohydrate and includes ARA (15mg per 100ml), choline (22mg), inositol (3.4mg), and L-carnitine (1.1mg), which are important for early infant development. Stage 2 drops those four nutrients, as they are expected to come increasingly from solid foods. Stage 2 also adds organic maltodextrin (from corn) and organic starch (0.5g per 100ml) alongside lactose (5.2g per 100ml) to support the higher energy needs of older infants during weaning. Both stages share the same 4.5g scoop size and the same two-step preparation method. This is the larger 800g Dutch-market can, containing double the formula of the German 400g version and offering better value per gram. Each can makes approximately 59 servings of 100ml prepared formula.

Like all Holle Goat Formulas, Stage 2 meets the highest level of European infant formula regulations set by the EFSA. The Demeter biodynamic certification means the goat milk comes from farms with the strictest organic standards for animal welfare, soil health, and biodiversity available worldwide. Please note: If your baby has been diagnosed with a cow's milk protein allergy (rather than just showing signs of sensitivity), it is not very likely that Holle goat milk formulas will be suitable. NOTE: Holle Dutch uses a two-step mixing method.
 

1. Wash your hands and sterilize the bottle, teat, and cap before use.
2. Boil fresh drinking water and let it cool to drinking temperature, approximately 37°C (98°F). Do not re-boil water.
3. Pour TWO-THIRDS (2/3) of the required water into the sterilized bottle.
4. Add the correct number of leveled scoops using only the scoop provided (1 scoop per 30ml water). Scoop size: 4.5g.
5. Close the bottle and shake vigorously until the powder is fully dissolved.
6. Add the REMAINING ONE-THIRD (1/3) of the required water and shake again.
7. Test on the inside of your wrist before feeding. 

Important Information:

• Only use the scoop provided in the can.
• Do not make feeds weaker or stronger than indicated by adding extra water/scoops, and do not add anything else to the milk.
• Always prepare the formula freshly, and do not prepare it in advance. Use immediately, and discard leftovers at the end of the feed.
• Do not heat a bottle in a microwave, as hot spots may occur, which could cause scalding.
• All opened formulas should be used within 21 days. Never use the formula beyond its expiration date. The expiration date on the formula box/tin is listed according to European standards: day/month/year
• Avoid storing in areas of high heat or humidity.
