It is made for babies 6 months and older and is used as part of a mixed diet, not as a breast-milk substitute before that age. Little ones often take to it after Holle Goat Dutch Stage 1. This formula is EU Organic certified (DK-ÖKO-100) and Demeter. It is packed for the Dutch market with goat milk from Germany. It comes in an 800 g (28.2 oz) tin.

Holle Goat Dutch Stage 2 stays close to the Stage 1 idea: Demeter goat milk, no palm oil, and algae-based DHA. As your baby starts eating solids, the recipe grows with them. Compared with Holle Goat Dutch Stage 1, Stage 2 adds a little starch and maltodextrin alongside lactose, keeps protein at 1.4 g per 100 ml (3.4 fl oz), and slightly increases iron (0.59 mg vs 0.54 mg). Energy stays 68 kcal per 100 ml (3.4 fl oz).
 

Compared with Holle Goat German Stage 2: Both are Demeter goat milks from 6 to 10 months. Both highlight vitamin C and D for the immune system, DHA for eyesight, biodynamic milk, and no palm oil. Both are vegetarian. The German version comes in a 400 g (14.1 oz) box with German labeling. Holle Goat Dutch Organic Stage 2 comes in an 800 g (28.2 oz) tin with Dutch and French labeling and is usually the better value per gram.

NOTE: Holle Dutch uses a two-step mixing method.
 

1. Wash your hands and sterilize the bottle, teat, and cap before use.
2. Boil fresh drinking water and let it cool to drinking temperature, approximately 37°C (98°F). Do not re-boil water.
3. Pour TWO-THIRDS (2/3) of the required water into the sterilized bottle.
4. Add the correct number of leveled scoops using only the scoop provided (1 scoop per 30ml water). Scoop size: 4.5g.
5. Close the bottle and shake vigorously until the powder is fully dissolved.
6. Add the REMAINING ONE-THIRD (1/3) of the required water and shake again.
7. Test on the inside of your wrist before feeding. 

Important Information:

• Only use the scoop provided in the can.
• Do not make feeds weaker or stronger than indicated by adding extra water/scoops, and do not add anything else to the milk.
• Always prepare the formula freshly, and do not prepare it in advance. Use immediately, and discard leftovers at the end of the feed.
• Do not heat a bottle in a microwave, as hot spots may occur, which could cause scalding.
• All opened formulas should be used within 21 days. Never use the formula beyond its expiration date. The expiration date on the formula box/tin is listed according to European standards: day/month/year
• Avoid storing in areas of high heat or humidity.
