Description
Holle German Organic Goat Stage 2 is a triple-certified organic goat milk follow-on formula for babies from 6 to 10 months. Certified EU Organic, Bio-Siegel (Germany's national organic seal), and Demeter Biodynamic, it represents the highest combination of organic standards available in European baby formula.
This is the 400g German-market version, made with organic whole goat milk from Demeter biodynamic farms. Stage 2 is designed as a follow-on formula to complement the introduction of solid foods during weaning. Holle is one of the world's most well-respected organic baby formula brands, with a decades-long commitment to using only high-quality, sustainably sourced ingredients from well-cared-for animals.
Goat milk naturally contains A2 beta-casein protein and forms a smaller, softer curd during digestion compared to standard cow milk. This is one reason parents of babies who experience discomfort with cow milk formulas often find goat milk formula to be a gentler alternative. Holle Goat Stage 2 uses exclusively organic whole goat milk (not skimmed), preserving the milk's natural protein and fat profile.
What changes from Stage 1 to Stage 2: in addition to organic lactose, Stage 2 introduces organic maltodextrin and a small amount of organic starch (0.5g per 100ml). These additional carbohydrate sources provide sustained energy to support growing babies who are more active and beginning to eat solid foods. Stage 2 provides 68 kcal per 100ml prepared. As your little one enters toddlerhood, we offer the Holle German Organic Goat Range Stage 3 and Stage 4.
Stage 2 provides DHA (14mg per 100ml) from microalgae oil (Schizochytrium sp.), supporting continued brain and eye development. Because DHA comes from algae rather than fish oil, this formula is suitable for vegetarian families. As a follow-on formula designed for babies also receiving nutrition from solid foods, Stage 2 has a streamlined nutrient profile compared to the infant stages. Palm oil free: uses only organic sunflower oil and organic rapeseed oil. Goat milk naturally provides palmitic acid, so no palm oil supplementation is needed. Also free from soy, gluten, GMOs, corn syrup, and artificial additives.
In addition to whole organic goat’s milk, Holle Goat Stage 2 contains organic lactose, maltodextrin, starch, and a blend of organic vegetable oils. Essential micronutrients such as calcium, iron, zinc, and vitamins A, C, D, and B12 round out the list of ingredients in this simple, clean formula.
This formula is also available: the larger 800g Dutch-labeled Holle Goat Stage 2 for families looking for more formula per package.

Not sure how much to order? Whether you are stocking up for a few weeks or a couple of months, our formula calculator shows exactly how many cans your baby needs. One tip from experienced parents: babies grow through their formula faster than you expect, so it is worth ordering your next supply before the current can runs low.
Please note:
- If your baby has been diagnosed with a cow’s milk protein allergy (rather than just showing signs of sensitivity), it is not very likely that Holle goat milk formulas will be suitable. You might consider one of our hypoallergenic formulas, which contain hydrolyzed proteins less likely to provoke an allergenic response.
- Before deciding to bottle-feed, we advise consulting your pediatrician.
