Holle Cow Stage 2 is a proven follow-on recipe made with Demeter skimmed cow milk from Germany. Vitamin C and D support the immune system. DHA supports eyesight. ALA omega-3 supports brain and nerves. Because DHA comes from algae, not fish oil, this formula is vegetarian.
 

As your baby starts eating solids, the recipe grows with them. Coming from Holle Cow Stage 1, Stage 2 adds maltodextrin and starch in addition to lactose. Energy stays 68 kcal per 100 ml (3.4 fl oz). This product is manufactured to meet European Union nutritional standards. Consequently, it may not meet the requirements of customers outside the EU.

NOTE: Holle uses a two-step mixing method.
 

1. Wash your hands and sterilize the bottle, teat, and cap before use.
2. Boil fresh drinking water and let it cool to drinking temperature, approximately 37°C (98°F). Do not re-boil water.
3. Pour TWO-THIRDS (2/3) of the required water into the sterilized bottle.
4. Add the correct number of leveled scoops using only the scoop provided (1 scoop per 30ml water). Scoop size: 4.5g.
5. Close the bottle and shake vigorously until the powder is fully dissolved.
6. Add the REMAINING ONE-THIRD (1/3) of the required water and shake again.
7. Test on the inside of your wrist before feeding. Always prepare fresh for each feed and discard any leftovers. 

Important Information:

• Only use the scoop provided in the can.
• Do not make feeds weaker or stronger than indicated by adding extra water/scoops, and do not add anything else to the milk.
• Always freshly prepare formula and do not prepare in advance. Use immediately, and discard leftovers at the end of the feed.
• Do not heat a bottle in a microwave as hot spots may occur, which could cause scalding.
• All opened formula should be used within 21 days. Never use the formula beyond its expiration date. The expiration date on the formula box/tin is listed according to European standard: day/month/year
• Avoid storing in areas of high heat or humidity.
