Description
Holle Goat German Stage 1 is a popular organic Demeter goat-milk formula that many families keep on hand from day one. Designed for use from birth, it can serve as the sole source of nutrition or supplement breastfeeding.
This formula is made in Germany and comes in a 400 g (14.1 oz) box.
Goat milk still contains milk proteins. It is not a treatment for a confirmed cow’s milk protein allergy. Always ask your pediatrician first.

What Makes This Formula Special
Holle Goat German Stage 1 is a first infant milk made with Demeter whole goat milk. It uses lactose as the only carbohydrate and has no palm oil. Goat milk naturally provides A2 protein. DHA and ARA (15 mg each per 100 ml / 3.4 fl oz) support brain and eyesight. DHA comes from algae, so this formula is vegetarian.
It can be the only milk or a supplement besides breastfeeding. Holle Goat German Stage 1 stays lactose-only and has slightly more energy (68 kcal vs 66 kcal per 100 ml / 3.4 fl oz).
Would you prefer the larger 800 g (28.2 oz) can? See Holle Goat Dutch Stage 1. Both are vegetarian.
Safety, Quality and Animal Welfare
This formula is triple certified: EU Organic, German Bio-Siegel, and Demeter. Those rules go beyond standard organic farming and include a strong focus on soil health and the welfare of the goats used for the milk. EU organic infant formula rules are generally stricter than typical US organic standards.
Why Parents Trust Holle Goat German Stage 1

How to make a bottle

NOTE: Holle Goat German uses a two-step mixing method.
1. Wash your hands and sterilize the bottle, teat, and cap before use.
2. Boil fresh drinking water and let it cool. Do not re-boil water.
3. Pour HALF of the required water into the sterilized bottle.
4. Add the correct number of leveled scoops using only the scoop provided (1 scoop per 30ml water). Scoop size: 4.5g.
5. Close the bottle and shake vigorously until the powder is fully dissolved.
6. Add the remaining HALF of the water. Close and shake again briefly.
7. Cool the prepared formula to drinking temperature, approximately 37°C (98°F). Test on the inside of your wrist before feeding. Always prepare fresh for each feed and discard any leftovers.
Important Information:
- Only use the scoop provided in the can.
- Do not make feeds weaker or stronger than indicated by adding extra water/scoops, and do not add anything else to the milk.
- Always freshly prepare formula and do not prepare in advance. Use immediately, and discard leftovers at the end of the feed.
- Do not heat a bottle in a microwave as hot spots may occur, which could cause scalding.
- All opened formula should be used within 21 days. Never use the formula beyond its expiration date. The expiration date on the formula box/tin is listed according to European standard: day/month/year
- Avoid storing in areas of high heat or humidity.
