Every product page has its own How to make a bottle tab, written for that exact formula: water amounts, scoop size, number of scoops and the steps in the right order. Brands differ in small but important ways, so always follow the tab or the label of the formula you use.

A few tips apply to every bottle:

• Wash your hands and use a clean bottle.
• Use freshly boiled water and only the scoop from your pack, leveled off.
• Let the bottle cool to body temperature, about 37°C (98°F), before feeding.
• Test a few drops on the inside of your wrist: it should feel lukewarm, not hot.
• Never warm a bottle in the microwave, because it heats unevenly.

Yes. Boil fresh tap water for every batch, because boiling kills any bacteria in the water. Use water boiled once, never water that has been boiled again and again or run through a water softener. Then let it cool as described in the How to make a bottle tab on your formula's product page. More tips in which water to use for baby formula.

Make every bottle fresh and feed it straight away. Use it within the time printed on your pack, which ranges from 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on the formula, then throw away whatever your baby does not finish, because leftover milk is where bacteria grow. Never save or reheat a partly finished bottle. Read can you reheat formula?

For German and Dutch labels, our English instructions page also has a full translation of each pack. Kendamil UK and HiPP UK are labeled entirely in English, so everything you need is on the can too.

We carry five gentle options, each built to help with specific problems.

• HiPP HA is a gentler everyday formula, suitable for sensitive tummies: the milk protein is broken down into much smaller pieces. It is not a medical treatment for a confirmed cow's milk protein allergy.
• HiPP Comfort is made for colic, gas and constipation.
• Kendamil UK Comfort is made for colic and constipation.
• HiPP Anti-Reflux is thickened with locust bean gum to help with spit-up.
• Goat milk formula from HiPP, Holle and Kendamil UK is naturally rich in A2 protein and forms softer curds, so the tummy has to work less hard.

Follow the feeding chart for your formula and stage, which you find on the product page and on the pack. It shows the water, scoops and number of bottles per day by age. Every baby is different, so follow your baby's hunger cues and consult with your pediatrician about growth and feeding.

Yes, every can and box comes with its own scoop. In boxes it sits inside the box, next to the sealed inner bag. In cans it is under the lid or in the powder, and HiPP Dutch cans sometimes bury it, so dig it out with a clean, dry spoon. Scoop sizes differ between brands and stages: the exact size for your formula is in the How to make a bottle tab on its product page. Always use the scoop that came with the pack you are using.

European packs print the best-before date as day/month/year, so 05/10/2027 means October 5, 2027, not May 10. You will find it on the bottom of the can or box. Every pack we ship has at least six months left before that date, guaranteed.

Yes. Combination feeding is common and works with every formula we sell. Some parents add one bottle a day, others use formula for night feeds or when they go back to work. Breastfeeding is recommended where possible, and whatever mix works for your family is a loving choice. Please consult with your pediatrician for advice on combining breastfeeding and formula for your baby. Read breastfeeding or formula, or ask our support team which formula fits.

No. Stage 3 and 4 toddler milks are made for older babies who also eat solid food, so they do not match a young baby's needs. Always use the stage that fits your baby's age today. Baby Brezza lists a Formula Pro Advanced setting for every formula we sell. Here they are, taken from Baby Brezza's own settings finder in October 2026. Settings change when recipes change, so you can always double check with the barcode on your pack in Baby Brezza’s settings finder.

US list: Baby Brezza's U.S. list shows a different number for that barcode, so start with the main setting and check the first bottle. Previous pack: Baby Brezza lists this formula under its previous barcode or by name. Using a Formula Pro Mini or the original Formula Pro? Check Baby Brezza's finder too. Many babies do well on it. Goat milk is naturally rich in A2 protein and forms softer curds in the tummy, so the tummy has to work less hard. We carry goat formula from HiPP, Holle and Kendamil UK. Goat milk still contains milk proteins, so it is not a treatment for a confirmed cow's milk protein allergy. Please consult with your pediatrician in this case. Kendamil UK Classic and Kendamil UK Organic are two different products, not a cheaper and a better version of the same one. Each has its own recipe.

• Kendamil UK Classic: the original award-winning whole milk recipe, with GOS and FOS prebiotics.
• Kendamil UK Organic: its own certified organic recipe, with milk from grass-fed cows.
• Kendamil UK Goat: whole A2 goat milk and goat whey, for parents who prefer goat milk.
• Kendamil UK Comfort: one recipe from birth for colic and constipation, with reduced lactose and whey protein that is partly broken down. Use it under your pediatrician's guidance.

• Holle Bio Cow: organic cow milk from Germany, Demeter-certified in Stages 1 to 3. Boxes with German labels.
• Holle Cow A2: milk from cows that produce only the A2 protein. EU organic, not Demeter. Boxes with German and French labels.
• Holle Organic Goat German: organic goat milk, naturally rich in A2 protein, with no palm oil. Demeter-certified from Holle Organic Goat Formula - Stage PRE to Stage 3. Boxes with German labels.
• Holle Organic Goat Dutch: the same Demeter goat milk idea in larger cans with Dutch and French labels, usually better value per gram.

Every Holle and every Kendamil UK formula is vegetarian because both brands get their DHA from algae. HiPP adds DHA from fish oil, so HiPP formulas are not vegetarian. See our guide to vegetarian baby formulas, or shop Holle and Kendamil UK.

Metafolin is a natural, ready-to-use form of folate, the B vitamin that supports healthy growth. It is the same form of folate found in breast milk, so your baby's body does not need to convert it first. You will find it in most of our HiPP formulas. Kendamil UK uses whole milk, so the natural milk fat stays in. With it comes MFGM: a natural part of the milk fat, also found in breast milk, that supports your baby's brain development. Kendamil UK Goat and Holle Goat use whole goat milk in the same way. Most HiPP recipes and Holle Cow and Cow A2 are based on skimmed milk with a blend of vegetable oils.

DHA is an omega-3 fat found naturally in breast milk, and it supports your baby's brain and eye development. Europe's infant formula rules require it in every infant and follow-on formula, at 20 to 50 mg per 100 kcal. The source differs by brand: HiPP uses fish oil, while Holle and Kendamil UK use algae. Every Stage PRE and Stage 1 we sell is lactose-based, with no maltodextrin. HiPP German Stage 1 adds a mild organic starch. From Stage 2, Holle adds organic maltodextrin and starch, and HiPP German Stage 2 and HiPP German Stage 3 add organic starch, both for a creamier, more filling bottle as your baby grows.

HiPP Dutch, HiPP UK, HiPP HA, HiPP Anti-Reflux, Kendamil UK Classic, Kendamil UK Organic and Kendamil UK Goat contain no maltodextrin. HiPP Comfort contains both as part of its specialty recipe. Maltodextrin is a gentle carbohydrate made from starch, easy to digest and only lightly sweet. Check any recipe in our comparison chart.,

Demeter is the certification for biodynamic farming, with rules that go further than EU organic regulations, animal feed, and animal welfare. Most of our Holle formulas carry it on top of the EU organic certification. Read more about biodynamic farming at Holle, or shop Holle.

Every Kendamil UK formula is palm-oil free, and so are Holle Goat German and Holle Goat Dutch. HiPP, Holle Cow and Holle Cow A2 include certified organic palm oil in their oil blend. Read baby formula and palm oil.

Cow milk contains two main types of beta-casein protein, A1 and A2. A2 milk comes from cows that produce only the A2 type, which some parents prefer for sensitive tummies. Holle Cow A2 formulas are made this way. Goat milk is naturally rich in A2 protein, so every goat milk formula we sell, from HiPP, Holle, and Kendamil UK, is an A2 option too.

Every formula we sell is free from GM ingredients. For certified organic products, the guarantee goes further: organic livestock must be fed 100 percent organic feed, so the chain is followed all the way back to what the herd eats.

Most of our range is certified organic, but not every recipe is, so here is the simple rule: if the pack carries the EU organic leaf, the organic rules apply to it. Read EU vs US formula: what sets them apart.

Prebiotics (GOS) feed the good bacteria your baby already has. Probiotics are good bacteria themselves, and HiPP's culture was originally found in breast milk.

• Both: the HiPP Dutch and HiPP German and HA recipes (HiPP calls this COMBIOTIK), plus HiPP Comfort.
• Probiotics only: HiPP Anti-Reflux.
• Prebiotics only: HiPP UK, HiPP Dutch Goat and every Kendamil UK formula, with no probiotics.
• Neither: Holle keeps its recipes deliberately simple, built around organic milk.

Whenever it is right for you and your baby. Formula from birth, a slow switch from breastfeeding or a mix of both are all normal. Stage PRE and Stage 1 give complete nutrition from birth. If you are moving from breast to bottle, change one feed at a time and give your baby a few days to adjust. Please consult with your pediatrician before you start. These 7 tips for a baby who refuses the bottle can help.

Many babies switch in one go. Others do better with a gradual change over about a week: replace one bottle a day with the new formula, then add another every day or two. Make each bottle with one formula only, following its own instructions, and never mix two powders in one bottle. A change in stools during the first days is normal. Please consult with your pediatrician if your baby has a medical condition or the switch does not settle. The Formula Finder and our formula guide help you choose the closest match.

Both provide complete nutrition from birth. PRE uses lactose as its only carbohydrate, the closest match to breast milk. HiPP German Stage 1 adds a mild organic starch for a creamier, more filling bottle. PRE does not mean premature. We carry PRE in HiPP German, HiPP German HA, and Holle Goat German.

From 6 months, which is when every Stage 2 we sell starts. Stage 2 is adjusted to that age, with more iron, as solid food begins. A Stage 1 feeding chart may run longer, but that is a maximum, not a recommendation: the next stage is the better fit. Stay with the same brand and line so the taste feels familiar. Your baby's needs change fast, and European rules set different recipes for each age. Each stage adjusts iron, protein, and energy to the age on the pack:

• Stage PRE and 1: from birth.
• Stage 2: from 6 months.

We pack fast, so contact us as soon as possible. If your order has not been packed yet, we cancel it and refund the amount minus a 5% handling and transaction fee. The refund can take up to 10 business days to show on your statement. Once the courier has your parcel, cancelling is no longer possible. Because formula is a perishable food, we cannot take returns or exchanges, even on unopened packs. As soon as the courier picks up your parcel, we email you a tracking link, often with a text message too. Check your spam folder if you do not see it. Then contact us with your order number; we can sometimes get the GPS location of the delivery. A punctured inner bag or can counts as damaged; please do not use that formula! Dents and creases are cosmetic and do not count as damage while the seal is intact. It is the same product you ordered, straight from the manufacturer. A new design is not a reason for a refund, but you can always ask us if something looks unfamiliar.

No. We sell the European and UK editions, made for European and UK parents and labeled for those markets. Some brands make separate U.S. versions with their own recipes and staging: the Kendamil formula sold in U.S. stores, for example, is a different formulation from Kendamil UK. If you want the original European recipe, this is where to find it, with English instructions for every German and Dutch label.

Give a new formula 7 to 14 days (in accordance with your pediatrician), because a baby's tummy needs time to adjust. If you are trying formula for the first time, start with a smaller order. We cannot refund formula your baby does not take, but our support team knows every recipe we sell and will help you find a better fit.
