Description
Holle Goat Dutch Formula Stage 3 is an organic goat milk follow-on formula for toddlers from 10 months. Use it as part of an increasingly varied family diet after Holle Goat Dutch Stage 2 or any other follow-on milk, and keep it in the routine through the end of year three.
By 10 months, your little one cruises the living room, samples everything at the table, and still leans on a dependable bottle underneath it all. The base stays whole goat milk, farmed the biodynamic Demeter way and naturally carrying the A2 protein, with lactose leading the recipe. DHA at 14 mg per 100 ml (3.4 fl oz) supports eyesight, vitamins C and D support the immune system, and this clean recipe contains no palm oil, added sugar, corn syrup, or soy.
This premium follow-on milk is crafted for the Dutch market with biodynamic milk from Germany and comes in a large 800 g (28.2 oz) can. The label is in Dutch and French, so we translated the preparation instructions, feeding chart, and ingredient info into English here.
This formula is rated 4.9 stars by parents in our store. "Baby girl eats it up, and I feel better knowing the ingredients are safe."

What Makes This Formula Special
Toddler days are big days: new words, new steps, and meals that range from impressive to three bites. Holle Goat Dutch Stage 3 is the steady base underneath it all. One or two milk meals a day round out the family food with iron, calcium, vitamin D, and DHA, exactly the nutrients unpredictable eaters tend to miss- while small amounts of gentle organic energy sources next to the lactose keep the feed satisfying for a toddler-sized appetite.
The milk itself is what makes Holle unique. Whole goat milk, naturally carrying the A2 protein and forming a soft curd in the tummy, is farmed to the Demeter standard, the biodynamic certification that goes beyond EU Organic with strict animal welfare at its heart. The DHA is plant-based, from algal oil, which keeps this formula vegetarian.
One honest note, because goat milk is often searched for allergy reasons: goat milk still contains milk proteins. It is not a treatment for a confirmed or suspected cow's milk protein allergy. Always ask your pediatrician first if allergies are a concern. For everyday sensitive tummies or fussiness on cow's milk, goat milk could be the gentle path you are looking for; our guide to goat milk formula for sensitive tummies explains why so many parents make the switch.
Stepping up from Holle Goat Dutch Formula Stage 2? The transition is seamless, with the same whole goat milk base and the mild taste your little one has known since Stage 1. Prefer a compact box? Holle Goat Stage 3 offers the same recipe idea in a 400 g German pack, while this 800 g can is usually the better value per gram. This is the final stage of the goat range, and all our Stage 3 formulas are gathered in one place.
Safety, Quality and Animal Welfare
Holle has stood for organic quality for more than 85 years and was the world's first Demeter producer of baby food. Biodynamic farming means the goats are raised with high animal-welfare standards on organic farms, and every ingredient is strictly controlled from farm to can. Simple, natural recipes are the whole philosophy: what your little one does not need does not go in.
EU baby formula follows strict European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) rules, including required DHA, staged iron by age, and no corn syrup solids. Those rules are a higher bar than FDA formula standards and apply to all EU and UK formulas we carry. Read more in our EU vs US formula guide.
Why Parents Trust Holle Goat Dutch Stage 3
The turnaround stories are what stand out in our reviews. "My son had many stomach issues before I put him on this formula. He loves it! 10/10 recommended," one mom wrote. Another found the switch effortless at exactly this age: "Holle was super easy to introduce to my son. He took to it very easily. I've even noticed he sleeps better." Settled tummies, easy transitions, and toddlers who happily finish their bottle come back again and again.

Frequently Asked Questions
What age is Holle Goat Dutch Stage 3 for?
It is a follow-on formula from 10 months, used as part of a mixed diet next to family meals. It is the final stage in the goat range and can be used through the end of the third year.
What is the difference between Holle Goat Dutch Stage 2 and Stage 3?
Stage 3 is tuned for toddlers: a slightly lighter feed at about 67 kcal per 100 ml, because real meals do more of the work, while iron stays high and the whole-goat-milk base, gentle organic energy sources, and mild taste stay the same. Switching is seamless.
Why choose this over plain milk for my toddler?
One or two servings a day provide iron, DHA, and vitamin D in amounts plain milk does not, which is welcome insurance during the picky-eating years. Many families use it as the gentle bridge between formula and regular milk, always as part of a mixed diet.
Is this formula suitable for a cow's milk protein allergy?
No. Goat milk still contains milk proteins, so it is not a treatment for a confirmed or suspected cow's milk protein allergy. For allergy concerns, choose a formula under medical guidance; for everyday sensitivity, goat milk is a gentle option.
How long does one can last?
The 800 g (28.2 oz) can makes about 60 bottles of 100 ml (3.4 fl oz), using the included scoop (4.4 g per 30 ml of water). At 1 to 2 milk meals a day, one can lasts several weeks; once opened, use within 3 weeks. Our formula calculator shows exactly how many cans you need.
