Holle Cow Organic Stage 3 is a triple-certified organic cow milk growing-up formula for babies from 10 months onward. Certified EU Organic, Bio-Siegel (Germany's national organic seal), and Demeter Biodynamic, it provides the highest combination of organic standards available in European toddler formula. This is the 600g German-market version, made with organic skimmed milk and whey from Demeter biodynamic farms, manufactured in Germany. Designed for active older infants transitioning to a varied diet of family foods alongside formula.
 

Compared to Holle Cow Stage 2, Stage 3 increases protein from 1.2g to 1.4g per 100ml to support the higher growth demands of older infants, while slightly reducing fat (3.5g vs 3.6g) and total carbohydrates (7.5g vs 7.7g). The carbohydrate blend remains lactose-dominant at 5.0g per 100ml, with organic maltodextrin and starch (0.8g per 100ml) providing sustained energy. There is no corn syrup, glucose syrup, or refined sugar.

Holle German Cow Stage 3 provides DHA (14mg per 100ml) from microalgae oil (Schizochytrium sp.) for continued brain and eye development. Like Cow Milk Stage 2, it does not include ARA, choline, inositol, or L-carnitine, as these nutrients are expected to come from the increasingly varied diet of a child from 10 months onward. Because DHA comes from algae rather than fish oil, no fish is used in this formula.
 

The fat blend includes organic palm oil from certified sustainable cultivation, organic sunflower oil, and organic rapeseed oil, providing 3.5g total fat per 100ml. Palm oil provides palmitic acid, the most abundant fatty acid in human breast milk, supporting fat absorption and energy. All three oils are organic and sourced from certified sustainable farms.

Stage 3 can be used for both bottle-feeding and mixing into porridge or cereal, making it versatile as your child's diet expands to include solid foods. Like all Holle Cow formulas, it meets the highest level of European infant formula regulations set by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA). The Demeter biodynamic certification means the cow's milk comes from farms that meet the strictest organic standards for animal welfare, soil health, and biodiversity available worldwide. Free from soy, gluten, GMOs, corn syrup, and artificial additives. This formula exceeds the EU requirements set for organic certification, which are much stricter than organic standards in the United States. 

After Stage 3, continue with Holle Cow Stage 4 from 12 months onwards. For newborns, start with Holle Cow Stage 1] from birth.

Please be aware that this product is manufactured according to European Union nutritional standards. Consequently, it may not meet the requirements of customers outside the EU.

NOTE: Holle uses a two-step mixing method.

1. Wash your hands and sterilize the bottle, teat, and cap before use.
2. Boil fresh drinking water and let it cool to drinking temperature, approximately 37°C (98°F). Do not re-boil water.
3. Pour HALF of the required water into the sterilized bottle.
4. Add the correct number of leveled scoops using only the scoop provided. 
5. Close the bottle and shake vigorously until the powder is fully dissolved.
6. Add the REMAINING HALF of the required water and shake again.
7. Test on the inside of your wrist before feeding. 

Important Information:

• Only use the scoop provided in the can.
• Do not make feeds weaker or stronger than indicated by adding extra water/scoops, and do not add anything else to the milk.
• Always freshly prepare formula and do not prepare in advance. Use immediately, and discard leftovers at the end of the feed.
• Do not heat a bottle in a microwave as hot spots may occur, which could cause scalding.
• All opened formula should be used within 21 days. Never use the formula beyond its expiration date. The expiration date on the formula box/tin is listed according to European standard: day/month/year
• Avoid storing in areas of high heat or humidity.
