PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

Holle Bio Folgemilch 2 is an organic follow-on milk for babies after the 6th month, as part of a mixed diet of bottle and spoon meals. It can follow breastfeeding, follow Holle Bio Anfangsmilch 1, or replace another follow-on milk at any time. Pack size 600 g (21.2 oz). The pack is labeled in German, so this is an English translation of the maker's own instructions. Always follow the pack in your hand if it differs from this page.

Scoop: 1 level scoop = 4.5 g. Standard mix: 3 level scoops + 90 ml water = 100 ml of prepared feed (13.5 g powder, about 1 scoop per 30 ml of water). One pack makes about 44 bottles of 100 ml.

How to make a bottle

Wash your hands. Clean the bottle, teat and ring thoroughly.
Boil fresh drinking water and let it cool to about 50 °C (120 °F).
Pour half of the water you need into the bottle. See the feeding chart below for the amount.
Measure the powder from the chart. Fill the enclosed scoop loosely and level it off with the back of a clean knife. Do not press the powder down and do not heap it. Add it to the bottle.
Close the bottle and shake the powder and half the water vigorously.
Add the rest of the water and shake well again.
Let it cool to drinking temperature, about 37 °C (98 °F), and check it on the inside of your wrist before feeding.

Use only the scoop that came inside this pack. Scoops from other formulas are a different size.

Important notes

Follow the preparation and the mixing ratio exactly, so your baby always gets the nutrients it needs.
Make each bottle fresh. Use a prepared bottle within 1 hour and throw away anything left over.
Never warm formula in a microwave. It creates hot spots and can scald your baby.
Store the pack in a cool, dry place. No heat, no humidity, no direct sunlight.
Once opened, close the inner pouch tightly and use the powder within 2 to 3 weeks.
Dates on the pack are written DD/MM/YYYY.
Incorrect preparation or storage can harm your baby's health.
Do not let your baby sip from the bottle for long periods. Long contact with milk sugars can cause tooth decay. Brush from the first tooth.
Follow-on milk is only part of a mixed diet. It must not be used as a breast milk substitute during the first 6 months.
