Description

Kendamil UK Classic Cow Formula Stage 3 is a whole-milk toddler milk for little ones from 12 to 36 months. It is served as part of a mixed diet alongside family meals. It is the final step in the original award-winning Kendamil recipe, made with love since 1962.

The philosophy remains exactly where it started: instead of skimmed milk and added oil blends, this recipe is built on fresh whole milk from British family farms, so the natural milk fat stays in. With it comes MFGM: a natural part of the milk fat, also found in breast milk, that supports your baby's brain development. The cup stays golden and creamy. The recipe needs no palm oil, and the nutrition now works for toddlers: a lighter feed of about 64 kcal, extra calcium with vitamin D for climbing bones and growing teeth, and iron kept high for energy and cognitive development on picky-eating days. Lactose remains the only carbohydrate. DHA comes from plant-based algae oil rather than fish oil. There is no corn syrup, no soy, and no GMOs.

This creamy toddler milk is made in England's Lake District for the UK market and comes in an 800 g (28.2 oz) can. Everything on the can is in plain English, including the preparation steps, feeding guide, and ingredients, so there is nothing to translate.

This formula has a 5-star rating from many parents in our store. "Great for active kids. My boy's tummy feels fantastic."

What Makes This Formula Special

Toddlerhood is when nutrition gets unpredictable: one day they eat everything in sight, the next day lunch is two peas and a firm "no". Classic Stage 3 is built for exactly that. The lighter recipe rounds out family meals without spoiling dinner. Iron stays high to address one of the most common gaps in toddler diets, and the generous calcium and vitamin D keep pace with a little body that climbs, jumps, and chews all day.

Meanwhile, the clean streak that made Classic famous continues. The whole-milk base keeps MFGM in naturally and excludes palm oil entirely. Lactose remains the only carbohydrate, while many toddler milks rely on starch, maltodextrin, or added sugars. The double dose of prebiotic fibers, GOS and FOS, keeps feeding the good bacteria in a busy toddler gut, joined by the naturally occurring HMO 3'-GL, a special milk sugar found in breast milk, and nucleotides. All of it from a family business since 1962, proudly the only British-made baby milk. Wondering how it compares to the toddler drinks in US stores? Our Kendamil vs Enfamil guide lines them up side by side.

Stepping up from Kendamil UK Classic Stage 2? The transition is seamless: the same creamy whole-milk taste, now tailored for the toddler years. Prefer the certified organic seal? Kendamil UK Organic Stage 3 is the sister path with the same whole-milk philosophy, while Classic remains the original recipe at a friendlier price. Stage 3 is the final step in the range and can be used all the way to the third birthday; you will find every toddler option we carry in our Stage 4 collection for 12 to 36 months.

Safety, Quality and Animal Welfare

Kendamil partners with local British family farms whose milk carries the Red Tractor certification, ensuring food safety, animal welfare, and full traceability. With over 60 years of expertise in infant nutrition, Kendamil makes, tests, and packs every batch at its own facility in Kendal, England, in the Lake District, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

EU baby formula complies with strict European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) rules, including required DHA, age-staged iron, and no corn syrup solids. These rules set a higher bar than FDA formula standards and apply to all EU and UK formulas we carry. Read more in our EU vs US formula guide.

Why Parents Trust Kendamil UK Classic Stage 3

By this stage, most families are well acquainted with the recipe. "My tiny adventurer's all giggles with this formula. We moved from Kendamil Classic Stage 2, and it's a perfect step up. Reliable company," one parent wrote. The UK original keeps winning the comparison: "As a parent of a curious toddler, I'm wowed. The UK-made Kendamil's richer than the US version. Her tummy's thriving. Total gem!" And the clean label remains a favorite: "My little one's tummy dances through meals. No soy's a brilliant touch." Happy tummies, easy step-ups, and toddlers with energy to burn: that is the pattern.

Why Choose Kendamil UK Classic Cow Formula Stage 3?

  • The original whole-milk recipe your child has loved since the first bottle
  • Iron, calcium, and vitamin D exactly where picky toddler eating leaves gaps
  • A lighter feed that rounds out family meals instead of replacing them
  • Double prebiotic support for a busy toddler tummy
  • The whole-milk philosophy at a friendlier price than the organic line

If your little one is 12 months or older and you want more nutritional support than plain milk can offer, in the creamy taste they already know, Kendamil UK Classic Stage 3 is the one to consider. A thriving toddler at the family table and one less thing for you to worry about.

Frequently Asked Questions

What age is Kendamil UK Classic Stage 3 for?
It is a toddler milk for ages 12 to 36 months, served as part of a mixed diet alongside family meals. It is the final stage of the Kendamil range, so it supports your child all the way to the third birthday.

What is the difference between Classic Stage 2 and Stage 3?
Stage 3 is a lighter feed with more calcium and vitamin D for the climbing years, iron kept high, and a protein balance adjusted for toddlers. The whole-milk base, algae DHA, double prebiotics, and creamy taste stay the same, so the switch is seamless.

Why choose this over plain cow's milk?
Plain milk brings calcium and protein, but Stage 3 adds high iron, vitamin D, DHA, prebiotics, and nucleotides, exactly the nutrients unpredictable toddler diets tend to miss, with lactose as the only carbohydrate and nothing artificial added.

What is the difference between Kendamil Classic and Kendamil Organic at this stage?
Both share the whole-milk philosophy: MFGM kept in, no palm oil, algae DHA, lactose only. Organic adds the certified organic seal, while Classic is the original award-winning recipe, carries the extra FOS prebiotic, and is usually the more accessible choice.

How long does one can last?
The 800 g (28.2 oz) can makes about 52 servings of 100 ml (3.4 fl oz), using the included scoop of 4.6 g per 30 ml of water. At a couple of toddler servings a day, that is roughly two weeks. Once opened, use it within 4 weeks. Our formula calculator shows exactly how many cans you need for your little one's age.

How to make a bottle

To open the can: snap open the tamper-proof clip and dispose of it immediately and safely, away from children. Hold the top of the can with both hands, place both thumbs under the lip, and push up to open. The scoop is held inside the lid. Open the foil seal by carefully pulling back on the easy-open tab, then dispose of the foil.

  1. Wash your hands, then sterilize your feeding utensils according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  2. Fill a kettle with 1 liter of freshly run tap water. Do not use repeatedly boiled water.
  3. Boil the water and leave it to cool for 30 minutes, so it stays at a temperature of at least 70°C.
  4. Measure the required water into a sterilized bottle.
  5. Using the scoop provided, add the correct number of leveled scoops to the bottle. Use the straight edge inside the lid to level each scoop. Scoop size: 4.6g. Use 1 scoop per 30ml water.
  6. Place a sterilized teat and cap on the bottle and shake well to dissolve the powder.
  7. Cool to natural body temperature, approximately 37°C (98°F), by running the bottle under cold running water with the lid on. Always test the temperature on the inside of your wrist before feeding.

Use the correct amount of leveled scoops as directed. Using too much or too little can make your child ill. If a made-up feed has not been used within 2 hours, throw it away and start again. Do not add food products such as cow's milk to your child's milk. Do not re-heat in a microwave. When bottle feeding, do not allow prolonged contact of milk feeds with your toddler's teeth, as this increases the risk of tooth decay. Make sure your toddler's teeth are cleaned each night after the last feed. Use only the scoop provided in the pack. This scoop is 4.6g, not the 4.3g scoop used on Stage 1 and Stage 2.
