Description
Kendamil UK Classic Cow Stage 3 Toddler Formula offers balanced and thoughtful nutrition for toddlers aged 12 to 36 months. Designed to complement solid foods or support weaning from breast milk, this formula provides all the essential nutrients your child needs for healthy growth and development. It is made in the English Lake District, with milk from local UK farms carrying a Red Tractor certified milk mark. Whole milk is the first ingredient, and this is the one Kendamil can put a figure on. There is no palm oil and no fish oil, and the DHA comes from algae instead, so the milk is certified vegetarian. It is Vegetarian Society approved, Halal approved, and kosher certified, which is rare to find on one label.
Building on the foundation of Kendamil Classic Stage 1 and Stage 2, Kendamil Classic Stage 3 provides a seamless progression, delivering all the essential nutrients required for toddler development. At twelve months, your child is eating what you eat, and milk becomes a cup alongside the meal rather than the meal itself. The recipe changes to match, more than at any earlier step.
Calcium is the headline. It climbs from 43.9mg to 121mg per 100ml, close to a tripling. The can references calcium for the normal growth and development of bone in children. Protein rises from 1.3g to 1.8g, iron from 0.75mg to 0.9mg, and potassium and phosphorus both go up sharply.
Other quantities will be less. Fat falls from 3.6g to 2.8g, DHA from 16.1mg to 8.8mg, and vitamin D from 1.4 to 0.7 micrograms. Taurine, choline, and inositol are no longer listed. That is ordinary for a toddler milk, where a varied diet is doing more of the work. Lastly, this Classic Stage 3 Formula features a 20:80 whey/casein ratio, mirroring the natural progression of breast milk to meet the evolving needs of growing toddlers. One practical thing as well. The scoop changes at this stage, from 4.3g to 4.6g, so keep the Stage 3 scoop with the Stage 3 can.
What sets Kendamil apart from many U.S.-made formulas is its clean ingredient profile: it’s free from soy, palm oil, synthetic additives, GMOs, corn syrup, sugar, and peanuts. Unlike the U.S. version, Kendamil provides three distinct stages tailored to meet your baby’s changing nutritional needs as they grow.
Nice to know: Kendamil has been family-run since 1962, working from the English Lake District. The milk comes from local UK farms under the UK Red Tractor scheme, which sets and inspects animal welfare standards.

How to make a bottle
To open the can: snap open the tamper-proof clip and dispose of it immediately and safely, away from children. Hold the top of the can with both hands, place both thumbs under the lip, and push up to open. The scoop is held inside the lid. Open the foil seal by carefully pulling back on the easy-open tab, then dispose of the foil.
- Wash your hands, then sterilize your feeding utensils according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Fill a kettle with 1 liter of freshly run tap water. Do not use repeatedly boiled water.
- Boil the water and leave it to cool for 30 minutes, so it stays at a temperature of at least 70°C.
- Measure the required water into a sterilized bottle.
- Using the scoop provided, add the correct number of leveled scoops to the bottle. Use the straight edge inside the lid to level each scoop. Scoop size: 4.6g. Use 1 scoop per 30ml water.
- Place a sterilized teat and cap on the bottle and shake well to dissolve the powder.
- Cool to natural body temperature, approximately 37°C (98°F), by running the bottle under cold running water with the lid on. Always test the temperature on the inside of your wrist before feeding.
Use the correct amount of leveled scoops as directed. Using too much or too little can make your child ill. If a made-up feed has not been used within 2 hours, throw it away and start again. Do not add food products such as cow's milk to your child's milk. Do not re-heat in a microwave. When bottle feeding, do not allow prolonged contact of milk feeds with your toddler's teeth, as this increases the risk of tooth decay. Make sure your toddler's teeth are cleaned each night after the last feed. Use only the scoop provided in the pack. This scoop is 4.6g, not the 4.3g scoop used on Stage 1 and Stage 2.
