PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

Holle A2 preparation instructions: boil water and cool to 50 C, add powder with the scoop, shake and feed at 37 C

First wash your hands and clean the bottle, the teat and the ring thoroughly. Then follow the steps in the picture above.

Boil fresh drinking water and let it cool to about 50 °C (120 °F).
Pour half of the water you need into the bottle. See the feeding chart below for the amount.
Add 1 level scoop of 4.4 g for every 30 ml (1 fl oz) of water. Fill the scoop loosely, level it off with the back of a clean knife, and do not press the powder down. Use only the 4.4 g scoop that came in this pack, because scoop weights differ between brands, between stages and sometimes between batches.
Close the bottle and shake vigorously until the powder has dissolved.
Add the rest of the water and shake well again.
Let it cool to drinking temperature, about 37 °C (98 °F), then test a drop on the inside of your wrist. It should feel warm, not hot. Now it is ready.

Important notes

Follow the mixing ratio exactly, so your baby gets the nutrients it needs. Incorrect preparation or storage can harm your baby's health.
Make each bottle fresh. Use a prepared bottle within 1 hour and throw away anything left over.
Never warm a bottle in the microwave. It creates hot spots and can scald your baby's mouth.
Once opened, close the inner pouch tightly and use the powder within 2 to 3 weeks. Keep it cool and dry, away from heat, humidity and direct sunlight.
Dates on the pack are written DD/MM/YYYY. So 05/09/2027 means 5 September 2027, not 9 May.
Do not let your baby sip from the bottle for long stretches. Long contact with milk sugars can cause tooth decay. Brush from the first tooth.
The amounts below are a guide. Your baby does not have to finish the bottle. Ask your pediatrician if you are unsure.

Feeding chart

Always 1 level scoop of 4.4 g per 30 ml (1 fl oz) of water. The standard mix is 3 scoops (13.2 g) plus 90 ml of water, which makes 100 ml. This 400 g (14.1 oz) pack makes approx. 30 bottles of 100 ml. Treat that as a guide, the exact number depends on how you level each scoop and on a little spillage.

The grey line under each water amount is how much prepared milk it makes. From the 10th month the amounts go by bottle size rather than by age, because how much milk your toddler needs depends on how much family food they already eat. The amounts and the number of feeds a day are guide values.

¹ 100 g of milk powder is made from 182 ml of skimmed milk.
² Contains DHA. DHA contributes to the normal development of vision in infants up to 12 months. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 100 mg of DHA.

This formula is vegetarian. The DHA is plant based, from algae rather than fish oil.
