Holle Goat Dutch Formula –Stage 3 (800g)Age: 10+ Months |
|---|
PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

First wash your hands and clean the bottle, the teat and the ring thoroughly. Holle uses a two step water method, so the water goes in twice. Follow the steps in the picture above.
- Boil fresh drinking water and let it cool to about 50 °C (122 °F).
- Pour half the water into the bottle. See the feeding chart below for the full amount.
- Add 1 level scoop of 4.4 g for every 30 ml (1 fl oz) of the full water amount. Fill the scoop loosely and level it off with the back of a clean knife. Use only the 4.4 g scoop that came in this can, because scoop weights differ between brands and between stages. The Stage 1 and Stage 2 scoop is 4.5 g, so do not swap them.
- Close the bottle and shake vigorously.
- Add the rest of the water and shake well again.
- Let it cool to drinking temperature, about 37 °C (98 °F). Test a drop on the inside of your wrist. It should feel warm, not hot. Now it is ready.
Half the water first is what stops the powder clumping. Adding all the water at once still works, but you will be shaking a lot longer.

This is a follow-on milk from 10 months, and it suits your child up to the end of the third year, alongside a family diet that keeps getting more varied. You can move to it from breastfeeding, from Holle Goat Dutch Stage 2, or from any other goat milk formula.
This is the same recipe as the German 400 g box, in a bigger 800 g can with Dutch and French labeling, and the same 4.4 g scoop.
What makes Holle Goat Stage 3 different
- Whole goat milk, naturally high in beta-casein A2. That is a property of goat milk itself, not something added.
- No palm oil. The fat blend is sunflower and rapeseed oil only, which is unusual in European formula.
- Algae DHA, not fish oil, which is why this formula is suitable for vegetarians.
- Demeter goat milk, 74 percent of the can. Milk from Germany, made in Denmark.
- A smaller 4.4 g scoop than Stage 1 and Stage 2, and a slightly lighter recipe, because by this age most of your child's energy comes from family food.
Important notes
- Make each bottle fresh just before the feed and give it straight away. Never reuse milk your child has left.
- Stick to the mixing ratio exactly. Too much or too little powder changes the nutrition your child gets.
- Never warm a bottle in the microwave. It heats unevenly and can scald your child's mouth.
- After opening, keep the can in a cool, dry place and use it within 3 weeks. Never store it in the fridge.
- The date is on the bottom of the can and is written DD/MM/YYYY. So 05/09/2027 means 5 September 2027, not 9 May.
- Do not let your child suck on the bottle for long periods. Frequent or long contact between the teeth and drinks that contain carbohydrate can cause tooth decay, so brush from the first tooth.
- The amounts below are a guide. Your child does not have to finish the bottle. Small differences from day to day are completely normal.
Feeding chart
Always 1 level scoop of 4.4 g per 30 ml (1 fl oz) of water. This 800 g (28.2 oz) can makes approx. 60 bottles of 100 ml. Treat that as a guide, the exact number depends on how you level each scoop and on a little spillage.
| Water | Scoops | Prepared milk | Bottles a day |
|---|---|---|---|
| 150 ml 5 fl oz |
5 | 170 ml 5.7 fl oz |
1 to 2 |
| 180 ml 6 fl oz |
6 | 200 ml 6.8 fl oz |
1 to 2 |
| 210 ml 7 fl oz |
7 | 230 ml 7.8 fl oz |
1 to 2 |
There are no age rows on this chart, only bottle sizes, because from 10 months most of what your child eats is family food. One to two bottles a day is the guide, fewer than at Stage 2 for that reason. The amounts and the number of feeds a day are guide values.
