HiPP uses 100% whey protein hydrolysate (86-87% broken down) for their HA infant formulas and uses lactose as the primary carbohydrate.

The difference between these two is that stage Pre does not contain starch while stage 1 does, making stage Pre a lighter formula. HiPP HA stage 2 is suitable for your little one as soon as they reach the age of 6 months and can be used until they wean off of formula.

Best Hydrolyzed Formula Without Starch
We used this for our 1st born due to milk protein intolerance, and now for our 2nd one. The taste is as close you can get to milk ,and it does what it claims to do..no rashes after using it. We are Hipp family and since we can't do breastmilk we will stay with this option
