HiPP Dutch Goat Stage 1 Formula

HiPP Dutch Goat Formula –Stage 1 (400g)

Age: 0 - 6 Months

PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

HiPP Formula Preparation instructions

First wash your hands and sterilize the bottle, the teat and the ring in boiling water for 10 minutes. Then follow the steps in the picture above.

  1. Boil fresh drinking water and let it cool to about 40 to 50 °C (104 to 122 °F). Do not pour boiling water onto the powder.
  2. Pour the right amount of cooled water into the bottle. See the feeding chart below for the amount.
  3. Add 1 level scoop of 4.3 g for every 30 ml (1 fl oz) of water. Fill the scoop loosely, level it off, and do not press the powder down. Use only the 4.3 g scoop that came in this pack, because scoop weights differ between brands, between stages and sometimes between batches.
  4. Close the bottle and shake vigorously until the powder has dissolved completely.
  5. Let it cool to drinking temperature, about 37 °C (98 °F).
  6. Test a drop on the inside of your wrist. It should feel warm, not hot. Now it is ready.

About A2 goat milk. This formula is made from organic goat milk, which is naturally high in beta-casein A2. That is a property of the milk itself, not something added.

Important safety warning. Goat milk contains proteins that are similar to cow's milk proteins. Do not use this formula if your baby has a proven cow's milk protein allergy, or if one is suspected. Talk to your doctor before you start.

Important notes

  • Make each bottle just before the feed and give it straight away.
  • Never reuse milk your baby has left. Throw it away.
  • Never warm a bottle in the microwave. It heats unevenly and can scald your baby's mouth.
  • After opening, keep the pack tightly closed in a cool, dry place at room temperature and use it within 3 weeks. Never store it in the fridge.
  • The date is on the bottom of the pack and is written DD/MM/YYYY. So 05/09/2027 means 5 September 2027, not 9 May.
  • Long or frequent contact between the teeth and drinks that contain carbohydrate can cause tooth decay, so do not let your baby suck on the teat for long periods.
  • The amounts below are a guide. Your baby does not have to finish the bottle. Ask your pediatrician if you are unsure.

Feeding chart
