HiPP Hypoallergenic Formula - Stage Pre

There’s nothing worse than seeing your little one in distress, which can occur when infants are sensitive to the ingredients in baby formula. HiPP Hypoallergenic (HA) Stage PRE Combiotic Infant milk formula is suitable for little ones from 0 to 6 months of age who are experiencing digestion problems, hay-fever-like symptoms, or skin reactions brought on by cow’s milk protein sensitivity. HiPP HA does not contain starch, making the consistency thin and easier to digest for young babies and minimizing the risk of allergenic impact. 
HiPP Pre-HA contains whey protein hydrolysate (and no casein), meaning the long-chain milk proteins have been hydrolyzed into smaller pieces. This Special Formula contains all essential nutrients required by strict European regulations. HiPP Hypoallergenic stage PRE formula features lactose as the primary source of carbohydrates, organic vegetable oils, and all essential vitamins and minerals. Furthermore, it contains prebiotics and probiotics to strengthen your baby’s gut microbiome and immune system. 

HiPP German HA Stage Pre is manufactured in Germany and exceeds the EU requirements set by the European Food Safety Authority for organic certification, which are much stricter than organic standards in the United States. This ensures it is 100% free from steroids, pesticides, soy, refined sugar, growth hormones, and non-medically necessary antibiotics. As your little one matures, we also carry Hipp HA2. Hipp HA Stage 1 vs. HiPP HA Stage Pre 
While both formulas serve a similar purpose, they have some small differences.

• Composition: The nutritional composition of the two formulas varies to meet the specific needs of the respective age groups. HiPP HA1 has slightly more energy content than HiPP HA-PRE. This higher energy content might be more suitable for infants with higher energy needs.
• Thicker Consistency: Some parents have reported that HiPP German HA1 has a slightly thicker consistency than HiPP HA Pre, which can be a factor to consider when choosing between the two. So, if you're looking for a formula to keep your baby satiated longer, HiPP HA1 could be a better choice.
• Suitability: Both HiPP HA1 and HiPP HA-PRE are suitable from birth. However, HiPP HA-PRE is often chosen for newborns due to its closer resemblance to breast milk, while HiPP HA1 is sometimes introduced after the first few weeks or when a more satiating formula is needed.
• Advice: We recommend consulting a pediatrician or a qualified health professional before changing your baby's diet.

Please be aware that this product is manufactured according to European Union nutritional standards. Consequently, it may not meet the requirements of customers outside the EU.

Preparation for all powdered formulas:

1. Use freshly boiled water for each of the baby’s meals and allow it to cool down to 120 degrees Fahrenheit (50 °C) before mixing with formula
2. Pour in 2/3 of the necessary amount of boiled water into a clean and sterilized
3. Use the scoop provided with your box of formula (note that spoon sizes vary by brand and even lot), and add the correct number of leveled scoops of powder (1 leveled scoop of powder per 1oz / 30ml of water).
4. Close the bottle with the nipple and cap and vigorously shake until all the powder has completely dissolved.
5. Add the remaining water to the bottle and shake it
6. Cool to drinking temperature (approximately 98 degrees Fahrenheit or 37 °C), and ALWAYS test the temperature of the milk before feeding to avoid scalding or burning your little one.

Important Information:

• Only use the scoop provided in the pack.
• Do not make feeds weaker or stronger than indicated by adding extra water/scoops, and do not add anything else to the milk.
• Always freshly prepare formula and do not prepare in advance. Use immediately, and discard leftovers at the end of the feed.
• Do not heat a bottle in a microwave, as hot spots may occur, which could cause scalding.
• All opened formulas should be used within 21 days. Never use a formula beyond its expiration date. The expiration date on the formula box/tin is listed according to European standards: day/month/year
• Avoid storing in areas of high heat or humidity.
